Revelation chapter seven introduces us to a brief pause in the storm of God's wrath so that He might prepare the firstfruits of Israel to be regathered and restored before the return of Christ. The Bible describes the upcoming future tribulation not only as a means of judgment upon the unbelieving world but also as a means of discipline to chasten Israel into the arms of their Messiah, Jesus.
