In the book of Revelation God is sovereignly working to usher His Kingdom upon the earth by judging the unbelieving world. At the exact same time, He is chastening Israel to fear His holy presence as revealed in Jesus their messiah by delivering judgments that resemble the Exodus event, except on a much larger scale, to ensure that all Israel might be saved at His return.
