Man is completely incapable of being righteous before God through keeping the Law, but God has revealed an alternate way to be made righteous before Him apart form the Law in the grace of His Son through faith. This is the crux of the Gospel that Paul preaches and this is what Paul explains in todays passage in the book of Romans.
