Much like a musical interlude, Revelation chapter ten causes us to slow down and focus our attention upon a particular instrument. In this case, the strings that are being played come straight out of Daniel chapter twelve, enabling the listener to discover just how precisely God's prophetic word in Revelation connects to God's prophetic word in Daniel. This connection heightens the Jewish and Israel centric nature of the events John is referring to throughout this amazing book.
