The Law of Moses was holy and good and just, but it was incapable of making men righteous before God. Rather than making men righteous it stirs up sin within and brings about greater condemnation and that is why all are in need of God's wonderful grace in Jesus Christ, for He is the One who conquered sin and given us newness of life over the power of sin through HIs Spirit.
