Paul's call to be an apostle to the Gentiles actually stirred up drama in the Roman Empire. When Paul asked the church in Rome to partner with him in bringing the gospel out further west this meant embracing risk and a potential loss of comfort in this world, but in the end, the church in Rome embraced the gospel Paul preached and the privilege and risk of sharing bring the gospel to the lost.
