In John chapter six, Jesus uses deliberately difficult and even shocking language to separate true disciples from the crowds who are following Him for the wrong reasons. Most of the multitude will turn away when confronted with these difficult sayings. Yet a few, who have been listening and learning from the Father are being drawn to Christ because and will continue with Jesus despite the difficulty. These are the ones who will come to Him in truth, and He promises that such people will never be cast out.
